thanks mateo -
for sharing your experiences. it creates a clear and complex picture of the overall struggle and the individual daily life. i think it helps remind us that loving people who are just trying to live are often dehumanized in our received coverage, never spoken of as individuals, with families, jobs, etc.
it looks like the trainings were a complete success! that's so exciting - i can't wait for an update from them. are they practicing it as a regular part of there clinic now? or just having special sessions still getting it going?
thanks again,
take care,
erin
wow...while it is said that pictures speak volumes over words, i find yours to be clear in meaning and deep in emotion, conveying the feeling of being there with you. thank you for including us in your journey and encouraging us to become more aware of the struggles in this part of the world. each link, video, article, blog-post, and picture helps break down the wall of silence and ignorance around this important issue.
as others have stated, it looks as though the trainings were a smashing success! i also wait eagerly for an in person conversation surrounding the trainings, your journey, loads of questions and whatever else may surface. but there is time for that....for now, be good to you and see you soon!
